Sussex man charged with multiple sexual offences.

Ian Elliott, 70, from Pulborough, already accused of 20 serious sexual offences has been charged with a further 72 offences – 70 of which are of a sexual nature. It is thought at least six male complainants have come forward. Elliott is currently remanded in custody and the Trial is scheduled to begin on 27 November 2023.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in the Horsham area where Elliot was a prominent member of local sports and social clubs and span the years between 1999 and the 2020’s.
Sussex Police’s investigation into Elliott continues, and they are keen to hear from anyone who may have information that could assist their enquiry – or whether they been a victim themselves.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: “I’d like to reassure the public that we take reports of this nature extremely seriously and will do all we can to identify any offences committed, safeguard victims and hold offenders accountable for their actions. “I understand how difficult it can be to re-live such traumatic experiences, but please know that we will listen to you and we will support you”.
