Harrods in the process of settling more than 250 claims for compensation against Mohamed Al Fayed.

Fayed, who died in 2023 aged 94,  owned Harrods between 1985 and 2010.  He is accused of multiple counts of sexual abuse by women who worked for him during this time who, understandably, did not feel able to come forward until after his death.

Harrods has a compensation scheme for ex-employees who were abused by Al Fayed, which is separate from a legal case also being brought forward by a number of other individuals.

At the time of many of the sexual assaults, Fayed was the owner of Harrods, the Ritz Paris hotel and football club Fulham FC and individuals are now coming forward to allege sexual assaults at Fulham FC.

David Hawkins, of Biscoes Solicitors is a specialist in historic sexual abuse compensation law and has many years of experience in bringing claims through redress schemes and also pursuing high net worth individuals and institutions where sexual assaults took place.  He has particular experience in claims of abuse against Premier League football clubs.  If you have been affected by any of these issues, please don’t hesitate to contact him for confidential advice about your legal rights.
