Jade Parrett-Harris is a solicitor within our Residential Property Department. Jade joined our team in September 2024 after qualifying in August 2024.

Expertise

Jade offers expert advice in the following areas:

• Freehold and Leasehold Sales – carrying out all aspects of the conveyancing process, including redeeming mortgages, dealing with enquiries raised by buyers’ solicitors, and liaising with landlords/managing agents to obtain necessary information when the property is leasehold.
• Freehold and Leasehold Purchases – carrying out all aspects of the conveyancing process, including raising enquiries, advising and reporting on search results, dealing with mortgage offers and liaising with lenders, advising and reporting on leases and title issues, and registering the property at the Land Registry.
• Re-Mortgages – new mortgages or replacement mortgages on existing leasehold or freehold properties.
• Equity Release – meeting with clients to advise on the equity release mortgage offer, liaising with the lender’s solicitors, and dealing with any mortgage conditions.
• Changing Ownership Arrangements/Transfers of Equity – this includes owning property jointly with someone and transferring into your sole name when they pass away (where the transfer is not automatic under the survivorship rules), separating couples with one buying out the other, and gifting a property to someone else, either a family member or a loved one.
• Lease Extensions and Deeds of Variation – This includes amending the terms of a lease, for example, increasing the term of years, altering the ground rent provisions, or any other alteration that may be required.
• First Registrations – applying to the Land Registry to register a property for the first time, including where title deeds are lost.
• Auction Sales and Purchases.
