Celebrating an Incredible 2024 at Biscoes Solicitors

What an incredible year it has been for Biscoes Solicitors.

As we close out 2024, we're looking back on a year filled with milestones, growth, and community spirit. From celebrating our 170th anniversary to moving into a new office, merging with new firms, and supporting numerous charities, there's so much to reflect on and celebrate. Let’s take a look at some of the moments that made this year so special.

A New Home for Biscoes
After 22 wonderful years in North End, we made a significant move to our beautiful new head office at Lake House in Port Solent. This state-of-the-art office has provided an ideal space for both our team and our clients, with easy access, ample parking, and a lovely atmosphere to collaborate and serve our community. The official grand opening on July 18th was a memorable celebration as we welcomed clients, friends, and guests to mark this exciting new chapter in our journey.

170 Years of Legal Excellence
This year also marked a huge milestone for us: 170 years of providing trusted legal services to the people of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. From our humble beginnings to the dynamic, multi-office firm we are today, it has been an honour to serve our community and grow alongside it.

New Partnerships, New Horizons
In 2024, we proudly merged with Hudson Solicitors and KJ Cox Solicitors, expanding our expertise and reach. These firms, with their commitment to personal and professional legal service, perfectly align with Biscoes' values. The addition of these teams has strengthened our ability to serve even more clients in Hampshire, Fareham, and Bordon.

Our Growing Team
We also welcomed 26 new team members this year! Their talents, skills, and dedication have added so much to the Biscoes family. We’re proud to have supported numerous staff achievements and promotions, including:

Giving Back to Our Community
At Biscoes, supporting our community is at the heart of everything we do. This year, our team took part in numerous fundraising activities. We hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising £130, enjoyed a fantastic Charity Quiz Night (raising £740 for SPARK Community Space), and spread some holiday cheer with Christmas Jumper Day, raising £170 for Save the Children.

Fun and Connection
Work-life balance and team spirit are essential to us, which is why we introduced Friday Fun Days and other staff activities to ensure everyone feels connected and appreciated. Our social events, seminars, and educational workshops were a hit this year, and we’re excited to host even more in 2025.
